Perth Airport (IATA: PER, ICAO: YPPH) is
an international, domestic and general
aviation airport serving Perth, Western
Australia. It is the fourth busiest airport in
Australia measured by passenger movements and falls within the
boundaries of the cities of Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan in
the east of the Perth metropolitan region.[2] It
is the sole airport with regular international flights in Western Australia.
Perth Airport covers a total of 2,105 hectares (5,202 acres) of airport
property.[3] Since
1997, it has been operated by Perth Airport Pty Ltd under a 99-year lease from
the federal government.[4]: 48 It is served
by Airport Central railway station on Transperth's Airport line.
Two runways here 03/21 at 11,299’ and 06/24 at
7096. All four have ILS available. Tower/CTAF frequency is 127.4 and is now
mandated by VATSIM here. Lots of big
terminals here as well. Leave from
anywhere (relaxed event rules) to arrive between 21:00Z and 22:00Z .
